annanotbob2's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What? Back up at ED's, stoned, on the air bed in front of Big Brother. Her leg's gone dead - the right one this time, the so-called good leg. She fell this morning, getting out of bed, couldn't get up and called 999. The paramedics arrived at the same time as the OT - grim at the time but may get services moving. Got lots of stuff done yesterday, including letter to benefits lot. Walked round town in the sunshine, to deliver the letter, being very frugal and feeling OK about it. Bought a pasty for my dinner, �1. It wasn't great, but it was a lot better than many a school dinner I've eaten - a useful point of comparison when trying to cut down the food spending. I finally remembered to go to the Women's Centre as suggested months ago by doc and now have appts with a benefits advisor and a reflexologist. Going outside now, for my last smoke. Grumpily. I don't mind all summer, but on this night of the equinox it's starting to get seriously chilly out there. Bloody non-smokers, honestly.
