Day 232

Very tired so just three good things:
1. I did a meditation this morning, just ten minutes, but it made me feel a bit more in control. I can't affect the way the world is but I can affect how I respond to it. If this is the last time I have I'm fucked if I'm going to spend it in a blind panic and though I may have to work all day to keep myself out of the panic, it's all good stuff. Cold shower (day three of that - that gives you extra time as thirty seconds is a whole fucking lifetime when you're standing under a shower of cold, cold water. But it feels great after, energising and invigorating). Meditation. Yoga, art, writing, walking, socialising. Not too much telly, very little news. I can do these things.
2. Walked in the rain with M, sadly parked in a place where we had to set off with the wind behind us, blowing us two miles east, then had to fight our way back into it. Four miles. It was good though - we were both a bit low, about the lockdown and with concern for our kids and stuff but we had a moan and a laugh and filled our lungs with fresh sea air and came home wet but cheerful.
3. Remains of yesterday's Irish stew for dinner, really yummy - why is it better on the second day? I just googled that and it's to do with fats and something or other that didn't stay in my head long enough to write down a few seconds later.
