annanotbob2's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 74 It's mad late because I started watching Little Fires Everywhere and got caught in the just one more episode trap. It's so good though, interesting, with lots of women, and non-violent (so far, but it doesn't have that kind of vibe) - a rare treat. So this is another very short entry which I want to make to record that I did the 5 Rhythms this morning and it was the same as it always is - it feels stupid and ridiculous to be dancing in your back room in the morning, even if you have hung sarongs over all the shelves to cover up the saucepans, but you start very slowly, so it's not hard, just swaying about, having a little stretch, and it takes a while to build up but you just go with it and then after, after an hour, or in fact a couple of hours, it turns out, a couple of hours of dancing on your own, in the morning, in your house, you've moved your body in a way it really fucking needed and now it feels much better and more real to be inside this body, even if you are surprised to find yourself quite old and even fatter than last time you looked. when inside you don't feel a day over fifty five. And I feel quite peaceful now, in a sad way. The sadness of living with a person you don't even like any more. I am grateful for: dancing - being led to dance in this way - who would have thought it possible, never mind wonderful; a walk with Daughter; a new blog from Dangerspouse, my fellow double-poster, also stuck in the wordpress/diaryland matrix (I don't know what a matrix is and no, I never saw the film, shhh), which I haven't read yet, just peeped at the first line to make sure his silence wasn't due to anything terrible - you just don't know in these times, do you ; a long nap this afternoon; finding a dog groomer to give Shirley a haircut - she's boiling in this heat. Not till June 2nd, but all good. Night night xxx
