Quick!

1. Really quick as it's midnight and I arranged to do a beachclean with someone I only know online at 9 tomorrow morning! Eek...! New person! Early morning!


2. Then I'm meeting someone from Tuesday art group in the afternoon - another first as I've not met her outside of the group. She's very nice though so I'm hopeful. Being brave, pushing myself into socialising as that's been the big gap in my recovery programme. It's all very well being OK if you're spending all day alone. I had a bit of a to and fro with the beachcleaning woman as she wanted to come and collect me, but I couldn't do that - what if she made me really anxious and I'm stuck waiting for her to bring me home? Bus service minimal on a Sunday. I was firm.


3. Another lovely time with Son today, just a coffee and a wander round town. I am so lucky to have him in my life, so lucky to have an adult kid who chooses to spend time with me, who values my opinion on the state of the world, who makes me laugh and who laughs at my witticisms too. #boastymcboastyma


4. That's all I've got if I'm going to be quick


5. I am grateful for: all the people who marched in defence of our NHS today; pie for dinner; lemon posset for pud; Lovely P coming over from Spain for another visit next week; a clean nightie
