I'm going to have to delete this entry when/if I get the application in as I'll have to give them a link to the blog, but meanwhile I'm going to moan about how hard it is to find the right tone for bigging yourself up. I'm old - in my day we got a clip round the ear for blowing our own trumpet, getting too big for our boots, that kind of thing.
