annanotbob2's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wah! We've turned the corner, so of course now I've keeled over. I lost the plot yesterday and found myself screaming nonsense at Bloke, loud and hysterical, sadly with the windows open on the hottest day of the year, so all the neighbours will have heard me bellowing about what a cunt I must be as no one wants to support ME, what about ME, why does nobody want to look after ME. Most unedifying in retrospect, but also understandable. It was my daughter, my darling YD. I hope she's feeling she can stay with us, I think she is. Changes have been made, responsibilities have been reassigned, support is in place, but it has to stay, not just be there while the crisis is fresh in our minds then drift back into thinking she's strong, she can cope with this and this and this and this as well. Through all of it I have plodded on with moving ED down near us. Tomorrow the manager of the home I have chosen (small, ten residents, learning difficulties as well as physical, very homely, 100 yards off the prom, ten minutes from my house), will go to do a one-to-one assessment to be absolutely sure her needs can be met. Then it's just paperwork and she'll be with us. Big changes all round.
