Quick one as I already took my sleeping pill.
We had a great meeting at GS's school - an hour and a half, lost of good suggestions, YD took him home and he spent the whole day catching up with stuff he'd missed.
Then I went to art group and copied a photo someone had taken of the old pier and the new tower going up
Today my sis what'sapped me a load of pics of the kids when little, mostly ED. I'm going to get prints of this one, probably twenty years old, makes me weep for all she has lost:
Apart from that I hasd a day at home, alone, chatting to pals on the phone, doing a bit of tidying, and resisting buying the new JK Rowling (under the name Robert Galbraith), third in her enjoyable series of crime novels.
Very groggy key control, might just stagger downstairs, make some hot milk, have a fag and go to bed;
Grateful for: loads of nice comments and likes about my painting, which I only posted on Facebook as a support for World Mental Health Day - wot I do in my recovery Centre - the one from my first art teacher made my day; lovely pics of my girl when she was really with us; tidied the hall, nice; found the table under all the mountains of stuff in the conservatory (it's far too deadbeat to merit that name, but what else is there? It's made of plastic glass and is attached to the house with gaffer tape and grim determination; a better day
