annanotbob2's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Home again Just a quickie to say home again, just me and GS, currently not asleep but in his bed behind me on the sofa. I am a bit anxious, but a bit sure we'll find a way through being together, this fourteen year old boy and his fifty-nine year old granny. I made the mistake of having my usual post-prandial spliff, without even thinking, as I was on the sofa then and he was out of my line of sight and only as I'd lit it, did I think Oh fuck, he's probably old enough that I should have a conversation about my drug use, as he must have noticed the difference in the smell of the smoke, but honestly, I'm too tired. Hope to be back at greater length tomorrow but for now my bed is calling me - can you hear it there in the distance, saying, 'Anna, over here, all warm and comfy, come on, you know you want to.' And I do. Today I am grateful for: a safe drive home; being home; having a grumpy teenage boy to moan about; being persuaded to make meatballs (from scratch) for dinner which turned out to be delicious; making so much that we'll have the same again tomorrow with no effort.
