I can't say anything about the recent shooting nor can I read anything. "All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men* to do nothing" *In the eighteenth century, when Edmund Burke coined that phrase, he couldn't even imagine women having an impact on events, or maybe it's an example of the theory by which man/he was meant to stand for both men and women, mankind (apart from when it didn't: "Man is a mammal as he breastfeeds his young" - don't think so), whereas now the word 'men' in the quote feels wrong - it should be people.
