Six Things

Late, so list;

1. When I got to the allotment today, the sun was already behind the hill at 1.30. There's about five weeks till the equinox, so it's only going to get worse. Not good. Chilly.
2. Arranged for TinyM to escort me to door of Art Club on Thurs and push me in. Or come and do the session with me, I hope.
3. There's a lot of complaints on #everydaysexism about being called things like 'dear' and 'pet' and 'sweetheart'. I like being called 'darling' or 'mate' or whatever by random bus-drivers and tend to do it myself. Smoothes the rough edges off my day, sometimes. Not good in the workplace - can be v. patronising and therefore offensive, but if that's all the sexism you encounter I reckon you're doing OK.
4. Just checked out teachers' pensions and discover that maybe (quite a big maybe) I could have been getting mine since I was 55. My Pensionable Age (for this pension) is 60 and if I get it earlier it's less per month, but bloody hell, this will be my first phone call tomorrow.
5. As I couldn't work out when I left my last job, I looked at my locked blog. Was that me? Did I really do all that? Is this bit now just a pause?
6. What next? I want a Big Thing to try and commit to, if not right now, then soon.

Grateful for: friends, fire, my camera; feeling a bit inspired by my old blog; a big warm comfy bed.
