annanotbob2's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Six Good Things About Today (found without too much scraping around) 1. I picked up four big pieces of trellis off the street today, slightly the worse for wear but free. Bloke has leant me his saw so I shall trim off the jaggedy bits, paint it and use it to hide ugly but necessary stuff in the garden (hosepipe, bags of compost etc). 2. Supermarkets now stock bunches of peonies and don't know fuck all about them so are flogging them off cheap before they've even opened. I have the most luxurious vaseful, wafting their sweetness about the place. 3. Allotment in the evening sun 4. Pay-day take-away round at TinyM and SDig's. 5. Mindfulness book and CD arrived from amazon - haven't looked at it yet, but will do when I wake up tomorrow. Or soon - whichever comes first. 6. I have very few irksome people in my life, for which I am truly thankful.
