annanotbob2's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Woo hoo! I'm in a very nice little pub at the bottom of my new road, on the free wifi, waiting for my roast dinner to be served, drinking a Sol. I haven't done anything as hard as move house for fucking ages. Honest, it nearly finished me off. But the flat is gorgeous - everyone who's been in has been surprised at its loveliness despite my having gone on about it at length. I'm too tired to think straight enough to write anything coherent and the light is very low in here so I'll keep this short. My heart has thrilled each time I've stepped outside the front door and seen the sea, grey and pounding hard upon the shore today, but who knows about tomorrow. Every room in the old house contained at least one bamboo pole, usually three or four, under and behind things. I cannot really account for this. Pens and hair elastics are behind bookcases, but I don't know how they get there. My sister this afternoon did fabulous work unpacking the kitchen, whilst droning on about how I'll HAVE to get rid of some stuff. Ha. You can hardly get in her house for stuff. I kept saying pot/kettle, but she wouldn't have it. My car has been parked illegally since yesterday afternoon and I don't care. I'm preparing to take it on the chin. They wouldn't tow it away so quickly, would they? Please no. OK, that's me for now. Back tomorrow. Hope you are all well.
