It's the Margaret Thatcher cognitive dissonance revisited. Yay, it's not just another white, male, old Etonian, but really, this woman/brown man? He's as rich as fuck, lied and cheated and shifted funds around to avoid paying a miniscule amount of tax, while he was Chancellor, ffs. Chancellor is the person in charge of the money. He was fined for attending illegal parties. Like fucking Braverman, resigned last week as Home Secretary for illegally having state documents on her personal email and is back already as ... fucking Home Secretary. They may be diverse in sex and skin tone but they're united in a lack of respect for the law - that's for poor people, not the likes of them, a lack of empathy and a surplus of uncontrollable greed. I assume we're still the laughing stock of the intelligent world. I assume there is still an intelligent world out there to laugh at us.
