Today has been about: walking, four miles, including a very long hill
eating, a big roast dinner cooked by YD including delicious slow-cooked pork started before we left and ready when we came in.
laughing - me and YD are amused at the same inconsequential nonsense and always have a backlog of stories when we haven't seen each other for a while. For example, she hadn't heard G. Brandreth on the radio saying, "As I walked along a beach in Antigua, I saw a wizened old woman coming towards me. When she got closer, I realised it was Mick Jagger."
dreaming, about how we could one day live in a big bungalow, with ED and GS and Bloke and all look after each other. Cold reality is there's barely a wage earner amongst us apart from SIL who thinks we're all a bunch of mentalists, so there's a way to go before that starts to come true
ranting: Son came for dinner and he is never short of an opinion, especially since having two articles accepted by that online politics magazine so he needs to be disagreed with, to keep him on his toes. And he can say what he likes but he is not a feminist.
